Ethiopian Cookbook and Restaurant
Issey is a conceptual Ethiopian restaurant located in Virginia. The design is a modern take on traditional Ethiopian art and design. Amharic typography is used as a motif throughout the cookbook, and the letters are also stacked to represent the workers in the restaurant. The cookbook celebrates Ethiopian culture and teaches the reader the important communal traditions that come with eating Ethiopian food.
